How do i get a "Mew" in Pokemon Gold?

Is it possible to get a Mew in pokemon gold?

No cheat codes or anything.

But is there a walkthrough to get mew?

Like how you get mew in Pokemon Yellow?

1. To obtain Mew in the Gold Version you must trade
   
   with a Red/blue/or yellow version who caught one using the
   
   amazing gltich.
   
   
   
   And for Pokemon Yellow Version as we all know, you must use that glitch that I just mentioned above.

I caght Lugia and Ho-oH with out useing eney cheats used amster ball on Lugia and normal pokeball on Ho-Oh i used about 76 before it finly stoped screming i even caght a red gardose and about 201 other pokemon and i still could not find that pikachu! and i beat the elite 4 and beat ash fun times fun times
